R Bergel, has successfully operated health spa clinics and physical
rehabilitation centers for over two decades.
He is renowned for his holistic and creative abilities in physical care,
rehabilitation, health resort and spa services (Exercise Therapy, Aromatherapy,
Hydrotherapy, Pelotherapy, Kneipp Therapy, Lymphedematherapy, Massagetherapy,
Thalassotherapy).
- In 1986, Dr Bergel founded the International Training for Spa Therapy (ITI)
a division of H-e-a-t Inc.

The implementation of a consultation project can be summarized in four phases:

1. Research and Facility Development: A recommendation of the type of spa best suited for your prospective market is given. A review of spa programs and options is also provided.
Phase 1 includes consultation with a architect and an interior designer to create a facility in which the desired atmosphere and the building's technical functions are achieved harmoniously.

2. Creation of Cost-Effective, Service-Oriented Spa: Programs are developed to promote continuity of style and direction throughout all phases of the operation, and to give the staff a sense of unity and clarity of purpose pertaining to fitness, health, beauty, and salon services, retail, etc.
Phase 2 includes designing a personalized spa program to suit clientele, planning retail sales, and providing assistance in the target market.

3. Implementation of Spa Practices and Operations: Staffing, job descriptions, training manuals, program manuals, quality assurance, and office systems are evaluated. Phase 3 offers the fundamentals of recruiting, staffing, educating the appropriate staff, on-site administration, and supervision of programs and operations.

Phase 4 comprises the revision and implementation of necessary changes and on-going management advice.
