Dr Bergel has operated his own health spa clinics and physical rehabilitation centers since 1980. He is renowned for his holistic and creative abilities in physical care, rehabilitation, health resort and spa services (Exercisetherapy, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Pelotherapy, Kneipptherapy, Lymphedema Therapy, Massage Therapy, Thalassotherapy).
Dr Bergel, born in Austria, the home of the most distinctive health spas in the world, studied the Austrian-German health care systems which recognize and appreciate the great therapeutic value of spa kur programs.
Dr Bergel has received degrees from the University of Cologne Germany (Exercise Science, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation), the University of California at Los Angeles(Kinesiology) and the University of California at Berkeley (Exercise Science-Education).
Dr Bergel has developed education and consultation services which include Spa Kur facility development, staff training and Spa Operations management.
